On January 29th, the Chinese Football Association announced the first batch of training lists for the 2023 National Olympics. In order to do a good job in preparing for the 2024 Paris Olympic qualifiers and the U23 Asian Cup, the Chinese Olympic men’s football team is scheduled to start on February 7, 2023. From 1st to 27th, I went to Shanghai to organize a training camp.
The Chinese Olympic team currently has local coach Cheng Yaodong as the head coach. This group of Olympic teams is based on players in the 2001 age group, and they are players of the right age for the 2024 Paris Olympics. There are 29 players in the first National Olympic training list in 2023, and Shanghai Shenhua has become the club with the most players selected, with as many as 6 players selected. Only Jian Tao was selected as an overseas player, three players from the Shandong Taishan team were selected, and Wang Shilong from the Guangzhou team was selected for this issue.
