Sky: The Glazers have disagreements over the sale of Manchester United.
Flam and Joel are reluctant to give up the club.
Sky Sports stated that sources who have worked with the Glazer family of Manchester United owners revealed that Avram Glazer and Manchester United executive vice-chairman Joel Glazer were unwilling to give up the club, while their siblings Kevin, Edward,
Brian and Darcy have the opposite attitude.
The Glazers are hoping to receive more interest ahead of the soft deadline of February 17, though only the Qatari consortium and Britain’s richest man Ratcliffe have publicly announced a bid for United.
The media went on to say that only by continuing to increase the offer can the Glazer family sell Manchester United. Their feeling is that Manchester United’s status, global influence, especially in emerging markets, and potential for future revenue growth have been underestimated.
There is a net debt of £656m, while the training ground and pitch need to be refurbished.
