January 9th, according to the "Courier", Milinkovic hopes to be free
Leaving Lazio, his agent has no intention of adding a liquidated damages clause in order to renew the contract.
Juventus are now out of the race, while Arsenal are still keeping an eye on Milinkovic.
According to the report, Milinkovic loves Lazio very much and he has no intention of being rude to Lazio, but at the same time he also hopes that he can achieve a career leap at this age.
His contract with Lazio will expire in June 2024, and Lazio is still seeking renewal negotiations with Milinkovic.
Juventus have scouted Milinkovic-Vic, though they have temporarily withdrawn from the race.
At present, Arsenal are still in the competition, but they are only willing to pay a transfer fee of no more than 40 million euros, which is far lower than Lazio’s asking price.
Lazio hopes to complete the contract renewal by adding a liquidated damages clause, but Milinkovic’s agent Kezhiman has no intention of doing so.
If the contract extension fails, Milinkovic may bid farewell to Lazio in June 2024.
