November 07-Aston Villa winger Leon Pele personally attacked Aston Villa’s 3-1 victory over Manchester United on social media.
Pele said: “I was very disappointed with the referee today. I was elbowed twice in the ribs and I could hardly breathe.” The linesman went on to tell me that I shouldn’t complain because I did the same thing to Martinez. Sometimes I don’t understand why we have VAR. ”
