March 1st, Arsenal’s mid-week make-up match against Everton, Fu Anjianyang before the game
He talked about the last match between the two teams and the mistakes against Manchester City and other related issues.
About the loss of the last match
We learned a lot, the most important thing is that we ran less than them and Arteta told us after the game that we have to run harder, so we have to run more than them.
That game was their first game after the coaching change, now we know what they want to do, they like to fight and run, they want to get the ball in the box, we have to defend the box, we have to be ready to fight,
We have to take the three points.
On Arsenal’s 50th milestone against Everton
I don’t know, it came so fast and it’s special to me because Arsenal is one of the biggest clubs in the world and I’m happy to play for this club.
When you play for one of the biggest clubs in the world there is always competition and Ben White has been doing well so I have to be patient.
I went out thinking about giving everything for the team and now I understand how to play for Arteta and hopefully I’m better than when I first got here.
On the mistake against Manchester City
We are a young team and I feel like part of the family and I remember at home against Manchester City I made a mistake and the team conceded a goal.
After that, everyone told me to keep calm and they helped me a lot.
Unfortunately we didn’t win that game, but then I told myself I need to learn from my mistakes and I need to pick myself up because the game is over.
I needed to stay positive and my teammates helped me.
About the Emirates Stadium fans
The game against Everton is important, we are playing at home, the fans are behind us and we have to win.
The atmosphere here is even better than last season, normally the fans get upset when the home team concedes first, but our fans reacted in the opposite direction.
Our fans are amazing, they have always given us a lot of energy, they are top.
