The player injured by Bailey was sent directly to the hospital and entered the intensive care unit.
Marseille coach Tudor believes that the sentence is too heavy, and Marseille chairman Longoria regrets that the official sent the news to the media without informing the club.
In a statement, the club said it wanted to maintain a consistent standard as it was necessary to ensure fairness in competitive sport.
“Provence newspaper” reported that the French Football Association Disciplinary Committee decided to impose a 7-game suspension on Bailly. Currently, Bailey has implemented a 2-game suspension.
