January 19th news from “Beijing Youth Daily”, the Chinese women’s football team will end on January 20th
After the training camp, they will regroup in Guangzhou on January 26 (the fifth day of the first month of the lunar calendar), and then go to Spain to participate in the pre-World Cup warm-up series on February 10.
It is understood that during the stay in Spain, the Chinese team will play four international warm-up matches in Marbella on February 14th, 16th, 19th, and 22nd local time. The opponents are the Swedish women’s football team, the Irish women’s football team and two La Liga teams.
Because they are in the same group with England and Denmark in this year’s World Cup group stage, the Chinese women’s football team will regard the four warm-up opponents as the imaginary opponents of the World Cup, so as to further familiarize themselves with and adapt to the high speed and strong confrontational rhythm of playing against European teams.
According to the official training notice issued by the Chinese Football Association, a total of 27 players participated in the first phase of winter training in Haikou.
However, since more than 10 female football players have studied overseas in professional clubs in Europe and North America, some overseas international players, including Wang Shuang, will go straight to Spain from their respective clubs to join the team.
