January 04th, the UEFA second review committee under the name of the Spanish Football Association officially passed Barcelona yesterday
One of three appeals against Laliga over the salary cap over Barca’s signing of Christensen.
Previously, Laliga’s Financial Control Committee had demanded a fine of 796,000 euros against Barcelona’s signing of Alves, Christensen and the renewal of Araujo’s three players last year, which caused the salary cap to exceed the limit.
After this appeal, Barcelona’s fine dropped to 580,000 euros.
However, at the previous Laliga General Assembly in early December, most of the clubs present voted for the cancellation of UEFA’s UEFA-certified Spanish Football Association’s UEFA Second Review Committee.
In this regard, Barcelona and Real Madrid expressed their opposition.
