Trial: Woman No. 10 initially didn’t want to file a lawsuit, Mendy’s accomplice said she wanted to make money and make money quickly
The trial of Mendy’s rape case continued today, and the victim stated the case on the 10th.
Victim No. 10 claimed that she was raped by Mendy and Maturi (accomplice) in August last year. The mother of No. 10 woman called the police after talking with her daughter. Police records show that woman number 10 said she was raped by two men who “forced herself.”
After the police arrived at the home of woman No. 10, “she didn’t say yes or no, but she had sex with Benjamin Mendy.” The jury was told that she initially told police she did not want to press a formal charge.
Woman No. 10 has since been examined by doctors at St. Mary’s Hospital in Manchester. Examination of woman number 10 revealed no injuries to her mouth or genitals.
She told police she took about half a gram of cocaine at around 3 a.m. on the night of the alleged rape, and drank “half or a bottle” of champagne and five shots of vodka.
Woman No. 10 “made five phone calls to Manchester City Football Club” the day after the rape.
When asked about the allegations against woman No. 10, the accomplice Maturi said: “I don’t understand why these people waited until now. If they want to make money, make money quickly.”
